Restaurants to Check out!
Mirch Masala
Mirch Masala restaurant is located in Delta. The restaurant is decorated
satisfactorily and they have a type of a family atmosphere with seating for
about 60 people. No loud music in the background so at least you can
have a conversation while eating.
The food was tasty, their butter chicken is quite popular and the ‘Roti’ are served nice and warm. They offer both
vegetarian and non-veg dishes. I ordered the extra hot but surprisingly found the food was not that hot as I had expected!
specially from a restaurant that is named ‘Mirch Masala’
The food and service overall were good. Prices are comparable and they can be viewed on
their restaurant website www.mirchmasaladelta.com
Mehfil India
Mehfil India is located in Surrey, they have a spacious dinning hall. The uniqueness
of this restaurant is that they have no menu
and offer a lunch and dinner buffet. Their
buffets are all day long. From 11 AM to 10
PM.
They don’t have menu ordering so if buffet is
your style then this is the place to go. Prices
are also quite low! 8.99 for lunch buffet and
10:99 for dinner buffet. Their website is www.mehfilindia.com
La jawab: Located in Delta very close to the Mirch Masala restaurant.
Restaurant is clean and they advertise themselves as a Punjabi Dhaba style
restaurant. The prices here are probably the cheapest one can find.2$ for a Aloo
Parantha. They serve both veg and non veg. Definitely worth checking out for Punjabi food lovers. Their website is
www.lajawab.net.
East India Grill
Located in Langley, East India Grill offers an impressive menu. Their decor is
tastefully done and gives you a comfortable cosy feeling when eating there.
They are located in front of the Willowbrook mall which is biggest mall in
Langley.
Actually you can walk across to this restaurant from
the shopping mall. Their menu is posted on their website www.eastindiagrill.ca
Mughal Gardens
If you are not too fussy about interior décor and want to enjoy tasty Indian snacks, then Mughal
Gardens is the place to visit. They are located in Surrey. The only problem I found here was the
loud music inside and a lack of parking. Food though is good and on the bright side they do
offer take-out service. Menu and prices on www.mughalgardens.ca
